After our amazing inaugural event in August, we are back at the Los Gatos Library where we will again offer free repairs on household items, electronics, bikes, clothing and more.

Join us at the Master Gardener’s Fall Garden Fair, part of the Martial Cottle Park Fall Festival, where our volunteers will be fixing things for free. Keeping with the theme of the event we’ll focus on fixing garden related items, but feel free to bring anything from around the house for us to look at.

Martial Cottle Park is located at 5283 Snell Ave in San Jose.

Sunday, September 21, 2025, 11 AM to 2 PM

Repair Café, Maker Nexus, and Fixit Clinic are teaming up for a hands-on community repair event. Bring your broken items—from small appliances to clothing—and have them assessed and possibly repaired by skilled volunteers.

This is a family-focused event, young fixers are encouraged to come help and learn. Maker Nexus is at 1330 Orleans Drive in Sunnyvale.

We are back in Santa Clara at the Central Park Library, 2635 Homestead Road, offering free repairs. This is a popular event so sign up today to reserve your spot!

Saturday, May 17th, 2025, 7 AM to 11AM

Repair Café volunteers will be at the Burbank Sanitary District Annual Cleanup day to give residents the option to repair instead of trashing broken household items, we will be outside 97 Boston Ave. at the corner of Olive Ave.

Anyone is welcome to stop by the Repair Café tent, but the cleanup event is only for residents of the Burbank neighborhood of Santa Clara Country.

If you are at the Palo Alto Earth Day Festival stop by our booth and say hello, we’ll be doing small repairs and talking about our mission to reduce waste by repairing. This is the same day as our event at the Museum of American Heritage so for larger, complex repairs consider going to that event earlier in the day.

Join us at the Master Gardener’s Spring Garden Fair in Martial Cottle Park, 5283 Snell Ave, San Jose. Bring your garden tools or anything else you want help fixing, but remember your little red wagon (we can fix that too) because it’s a bit of a walk from the parking to our booth.

Stop by our booth at the Mountain View Earth and Arbor Day Celebration where we will be doing free small repairs and talking about our passion for keeping things out of the landfill.

Repair Café is joining the West Valley College Democracy Institute for a summit on sustainable consumerism. Volunteers will be providing free repairs on in the Baltic room of the Campus Center (CC on the map). This event is open to the public as well as faculty and students.

The cafe will once again be at the Del Rey Oaks Old Town Hall in Del Rey Park, 999 Angelus Way. More details are available on the Del Rey website.

Our friends at Fixit Clinic are holding a repair workshop at the MLK Main Library, more information is available on their Facebook page. Fixit Clinic events are hands on, so come ready to roll up your sleeves and turn some screws!
